The Beginning of Things

I have no idea how long this blog will last, but I figured I would give it a try. True, the noted philosopher Homer suggests "Trying is the first step towards failure," but I am fairly confident that over the next month a journal will be a welcome distraction. Beyond that? Who knows. I'm a law student, not a prophet.

Why is this called Carp Network? Because Carp Network is the best name in the world? Well no. I used it because it was handy and not already taken. Specifically, my wireless router's ssid is CarpNet, named after the street I live on (Carpenter Street.) Just so you know, I am not an angler, but if you're looking for one, perhaps the folks over at Carp Network can help.
